the offer..

16 Jun

In Januray, Seth’s cousin Bill came to San Diego on a business trip. We hung out with him and went to dinner downtown. Bill had mentioned that his family want us to move out there. Immediately i think there is no way….its way too hot! He isn’t serious, is he?

A few months later, Seth’s uncle Steve calls us and makes us the offer. He has a house that is vacant and he would like us to live there! Again, i think…its way too hot in texas. He said he would fly us out there to check it out.

After some talking with friends and family, I decided to check it out with an open mind. In May, we flew out to San Marcos, Texas to visit Seth’s relatives. So out we flew, to check it out. We had a blast! I really got to know his family so much better. The weather was amazing, it was in the 70s with NO HUMIDITY. I couldn’t have asked for better weather. One night we even caught fireflies! That was awesome. Did i mention the great food? One of the nights they took us to the Salt Lick BBQ – this place was Amazing! We also did a little shopping. I got some Cowboy Boots, it is definitely going to take some getting used to. My feet have never been this confined, as i am used to flip flops. The trip was way too short, but it gave us a good idea as to what to expect.

Once we were home, we discussed it over and over and over. It took us about 4 or 5 days to figure out that this is an opportunity that we cannot pass up. So we told my family and they have been so supportive. We also called Seth’s family and they are so excited! We determined that the date we are going to move is June 26th….
